For years, Liverpool vs Fulham was one of those Premier League fixtures you glanced at on the schedule and assumed the outcome. Liverpool, the heavyweight with decades of domestic and European pedigree, routinely swept past Fulham, who often bounced between divisions or hovered around mid-table.
