Wade Court take part in 5k race for life and raise over £1k for Cancer Research at Trentham Gardens
Ceri, Service Manager said:
‘Six staff members from Wade Court took on the 5k Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research — a charity that is very close to all of our hearts.
What a fantastic evening it was! Myself, Dani, Lisa, Ruth, Amelia, and Carla were drenched by the rain before the race started. However, as soon as we set off, the sun came out to cheer us on — bringing with it the beautiful rainbow that seemed to follow us around the course.
The event took place in the stunning grounds of Trentham Gardens, with a rock choir singing and encouraging everyone along the way. Did anyone spot a familiar face in the choir? Deborah from Skills was certainly happy to pause for a cheeky selfie in the middle of a rock ballad!
We all had such a great time, and I’m delighted to say that together we raised an amazing £1,000+ for Cancer Research.
